Enjoy 4 days of giving, buying, and selling within our community, and be among the first to try our new gift shipping flow (available in the U.S. and Canada)—a feature our members have been asking for!

How it Works

We’re excited to introduce our new in-app shipping system, currently in testing, making it easier to cover shipping costs and track your gifts! This season, consider receiving gifted items to pass along to friends and family, sharing the joy of secondhand and slowing down fast fashion together.

• Add a Gift to Access the Event

  For this special Buy & Sell Days: Gifting Extravaganza  🎁, you’ll need to add at least one item to gift in order to gain full access. Set the item’s “Trade Preference” to “Gifting” to make it part of the Gift Exchange. Once added, you’ll be able to buy, sell, and claim gifts during the event!


  
  Note: Your items might say “Going Live on Tuesday” but will go live on Friday if they are marked as “Gifting”.

• Discover Gifts Across Communities

  Browse gifted items from all your communities. Sustainers get access to all groups, expanding their reach to even more unique items.

• Request a Gift
  - Tap “Trade” on the item listing and message the member to request the gift.
  - Use our new in-app shipping flow (in testing!) to pay for shipping, making it easy to cover the cost while benefiting from in-app tracking for peace of mind.

• Giving a Gift
  When someone requests a gift, select “Give as Gift” in the chat. Once confirmed, pack the item and ship it after the requestor has paid for shipping through the app. We encourage you to gift items to those who are new to the community, or are still building their sustainable closets.

• Share the Love
  ‍To keep the joy of gifting accessible to everyone, please limit yourself to receiving a maximum of 2 gifts during the event. This helps ensure fair access, especially for those with limited budgets or who want to enjoy more items within our slow fashion community. Let’s spread the love and make gifting meaningful!
